I've been a used of Kaspersky for year's and have never been disappointed. It's the best anti-virus out there, and for years has been ranked on top for booting up quickly (unlike other anti-virus software that begin with N, that takes for ever to load).

I first heard about Kaspersky form my computer expert who keeps me out of trouble here in Fort Worth, Texas. I was using Panda, but had discovered that it had its weakness. I uninstalled and tried to cancel Panda with poor results that cost me money.
Yes, I recommend Kaspersky to all my friends and family who have trouble with attacks. No virusware is perfect, but I really respect Kaspersky 3 Pure. I full-scan every two days and check the Vulnerability Scan to check for any weakness in my complex MS Windows 7© settings. Kaspersky will fix real problems if I want it fixed, plus tell me recommendations about fixing problems. If I do not need to fix something, I leave it alone. Kaspersky accepts Windows Security© downloads.
My humble recommendation is get rid of cheap second-rate virusware and download Kaspersky 3, which can be trusted. If you just buy the software from the get-go, you can get a backup disk for your files. You can reload your Kaspersky disk if needed. Be sure to keep your activation code handy for safekeeping. I bought a two-year subscription for my first use. You can get updates for free from Kaspersky, which I respect.
I could say more, but you get the idea. Kaspersky really works to help you stay out of “COMUTER TROUBLE.” And, that is no bull from Texas.

My anti-virus program was up for renewal a couple of months ago. I have used the Kapersky Lab antivirus programs for the last several years, with no problems. However, with the purchase of the 3.0, I have had some problems.
Three times now, I have been alerted that the program isn't working, it must be reloaded. I don't understand what the problem is. It is very time consuming, and leaves our computer vulnerable.
I would appreciate any input concerning this. I don't want to rate the pros/cons based on this product, as I feel it is unfair, considering the good service of the past virus protection products.

I've used Kaspersky 2.0 great now I have 3.0 version. I never used the safe money mode in 2.0 but it came up automatically with version 3.0 and I learned something new. My only problem with safe money mode is I can't print out receipts. Having a problem adding a printer to print screen to print. Had technician try they too couldn't add a printer, said was a technical problem with software and will try again. Hope this gets fixed soon. What's the sense in learning something new if I can't use it.

Shortly after renewing my subscription and upgrading to pure 3.0 my computer was attacked by a trojan which pure said it could not remove. i thought i finally got it cleaned but there is obviously still something controlling my computer. i fear i may hav to get a new computer..

I wish that I had never heard of Kaspersky Pure. After installing it, using the Internet is almost impossible. Every site that I go to is reported to have certificate errors, even sites that I know to be valid. Ease of use stinks also. I have adjusted the security levels as best I can with no improvement in accessibility. Trying to find where the problems are is very difficult. Pure has also played havoc with Firefox to the extent that I now use IE exclusively. Firefoz reports the same certificate errors and makes it literally impossible to access the sites. Firefox will not allow it.
Pure was anstalled on an ASUS netbook running XP. I will not install it on anything else. I may go back to my original Kaspersky which I liked or change to another Program. I haven't decided yet.

I am 80 years old and have used computers since age 65. I have lost two computers from other protection programs. a little over a year ago I purchased my current laptop. the salesperson recommended Kaspersky. really liked it and just upgraded from pure 2 to pure 3. both are good software programs.

Renewing the subscription was a nightmare. I still get pop-ups saying I am not protected. Somethng is using major gigs at night. I have to turnn off my Mi Fi after every use of my computer. Very disappointed.

I have been using kaspersky for several years however the new 3.0 does not work properly with Windows 7 64-bit password manager locks up computer when in use need to revert back to Internet Explorer 9 and turn off sync options in password manager in order for it to work properly if problems are fixed I will rate 5 stars all the way around almost forgot there is no 800 number for tech support

I've always depended on Kaspersky in order to keep my computer safe, but I noticed that in the beginning when the computer is loading, the Kaspersky logo does load right away and then it takes another minute for the sign to come up to say it's ENABLED.
I would also like to know when its the right time to run a full scan because I do use my computer everyday and one day I noticed there was something on the Vunerability scan that I had to take care of, which I did.
