I have used Kaspe5ski for at least 8 years. I have found that the upgrades are made assist in ensuring that Kaspersky continues to update as the online is filled with items that could be a disaster if they did not to so. I like the ability to down load of the latest protection.

I have been using Kaspersky anit-virus software, going on my 4th year. I haven't had any virus, trojans, malware issues at all. Kaspersky protection catches suspicious URL's and anything that could cause harm to your PC, before you even know it's there. I have used customer service and tech support and they were outstanding in answering my questions and resolving a small issue of transfering the license from an old PC to the brand new one I purchased. I have been kept updated to the latest versions since 2010 at no extra charge.

This is an easy to use program that works quickly to respond to any incoming threat. Much better than previous products used and it requires less drive space. Highly recommended.

I think it isw a good fact finding program but: The program is supposed to search and eliminate popups yet the program always pops up to sell a different program produced by Kaspersky. Very unnerving to say the least!
I don't like the fact, as other programs allow me, the fact that the program stopps when the computer goes into "rest stage." When I turn on the screen again, the programs starts. Other programs still work in the background.
Other than that annoying fact, the program does what it is supposed to do quite well!!

my first year of Kaspersky was outstanding to say the least.
sense purchasing the 2013 addition I have had nothing but problems and I am not protected! I am plagued with pop ups saying ( bad protection components )

Great product but: I had a few days left on my Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 and tried installing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013. The new anti-virus did not fully download at that time nor did it ask for the key code. Once my Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 fully expired I was able to download the new Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 but after installing it I noticed that I was shorted the days from when I first tried installing it. I think that isn't right since the new one hadn't been activated.

I purchased my renewal in March but didn't activate it until the previous Kaspersky expired May 25th. Once I activated the renewal it showed it as beginning in March, should it start when I actually activated it?

This is the third year I am using Kaspersky Anti-Virus. My son installed it after being dissatisfied with our previous anti-virus. Particularly when we ran into a problem and spent precious time on the phone with their tech support. Bottom line was they wanted us to spend more money to upgrade the service.

I received an erroneous message that my subscription was expiring which is the reason I gave "Ease of Use" only four stars. I had great customer service to solve the problem . Since using Kaspersky my computer has been safe, and I have total confidence that it will remain so.

Good - keeps my comp clean - no viruses/spyware and warns of threats on web or e-mail
Bad - takes 6-10 hours for a full scan - Had a corrupted process that filled my HD w/ 32 GB file in a few hours. Had to uninstall/re-install to eliminate the problem - takes dominance of system resources to upload update files

Ever since upgrading to 2013 and renewing the license, I've noticed that periodially Kaspersky stops protecting. in other words, when you're browsing, the "K" symbol indicating safe sites no longer works. I've not yet figured out how to keep this from happening.

I researched several leading antivirus programs on the market and I settled on Kaspersky. Kaspersky has been very consistent with it's detection and protection scores with leading antivirus labs. I switched from Eset NOD32 because their detection rates have been underperforming compared to the top rated antivirus programs on the market. I'm very glad I have Kaspersky antivirus protecting 3 of my computers at home.
