I got this as a trial with a new laptop. When I purchased the full license, I had some issues with the installation but other than that the product is great. It doesn't hog resources and seems to run seamlessly in the background but still provides excellent protection. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

I switched from Norton 360 and came to this a little sceptical. But Im going to tell you straight on that this is the BEST product on the market. Its SOOO easy to install. The menu layout is super! Kaspersky has been great for our company. The ease of use and unobtrusiveness of how scanning in the background is performed ensures that we are always protected – users don’t switch off the coverage to make the dialog boxes go away. Other solutions too often forced us to click through pop-up windows that harassed users constantly, causing confusion for many of them. Kaspersky also gives us very thorough reports, letting us know that we’re fully protected and making us very aware when there are virus security issues that need to be addressed. Further, the support we have received from Kaspersky has been fantastic, extensively guiding us when we had difficult deployment issues created when we moved servers.
Without a doubt, I would recommend Kaspersky Anti-Virus to anybody in need of a solution for anti-virus and anti-hacking protection.

I'm very satisfied with Kaspersky Antivirus 2010. It's much easier to use and set up than Norton, doesn't fight with Windows as Norton can sometimes do, and provides detailed information on threats to my system that is well-organized. If, for some reason, the product cannot update, I'm notified and the reason why is given.

New version slows down windows computer

I chose Kapersky couple years ago because it did not bog down the speed of operation of windows computers. With the lastest versions installed, it has succumb to the symantec type of performance cripple on windows machines. Uggg. Now starting firefox browser takes about 30 seconds with the kapresky icon flashing. Machine seems to grind all the time.

I have used KAV 2009 and attempted to download KIS 2010 and KAV 2010 with no success. The process require deletion of KAV 2009 to allow download. I now have no protection. I would like to install KAV 2010. Can anyone help?

I uninstalled Kaspersky 2010 because it slowed my computer down to a snail's pace! Wasted my money...good protection but if it makes computer use slow and cumbersome...what good is it really!

I changed to Kaspersky for my internet protection a few months ago because the product I was using was not giving me good protection. I am very pleased with the protection of Kaspersky. I find it also very easy to use. The only problem I am having is that it makes my computer really slow when I first go on the internet.

I have Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010. I have used Notron Anti-Virus, AVG Anti-Virus and CA Labs Anti-Virus in the past and I can safely say that Kaspersky Anti-Virus beats them all. Kaspersky Anti-Virus is not only efficient but it works FANTASTIC! It updates its virus definitions approximately every 20 minutes from what I've noticed. It has the Protective Defense feature which constantly monitors incoming and outgoing files. It also has e-mail anti-virus which checks all of you e-mail messages to ensure they are virus-free. The only flaw I can think of the ease of use. Some people might find the interface a bit more complicated then programs such as Notron. But believe me when I say that everything else makes up for that and then some. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

It seems to be updating all the time and when it DOES update, other programs either run too slowly or the entire computer freezes and I am forced to reboot CONSTANTLY. This only happens when the little blue light (meaning updating) is flashing in the logo in the lower right hand corner of the task bar.

Great on Desktop, but destroys netbook performance

This product works great on my desktop gaming PC. I love the high level of protection and how it actively tells me what programs I need to update to fix vulnerabilities.
However, I tried installing on my Asus S101 netbook which uses a Intel Atom Z5x processor and the netbook performance drops so low its useless. I wish there was a light weight version of the software that could offer similar protection for netbooks!

Using my PC, and Data Bases Status was out of date. It was showing RED lights, and the "fix it now" button was showing, but it wasn't working when I pressed it. Why automatic update doesn't function properly ? It stated that Data Bases were corrupted. Re-started PC and it fixed the problem. Also the Full Scan finish time remaining, has the longest one minute remaining time ever. How do I reset the virus counter ?

I have been using Kaspersky since 2008 and been very happy with it - never had a single virus or data integrity problem despite using a PC with 1st generation Windows Vista OS.
However, the 2010 version has SLOWED DOWN my system considerably - it is very frustrating. Not sure I will renew in 2011 unless Kaspersky informs me they have solved this problem.

Kaspersky is by far the best thing ever made for protection. I have used it for over 4 yrs now and have never had any viruses or spyware affect me to point of haveing to do anything major. It has removed viruses that I have not been able to remove manually from other computers. It is the only thing I have recommended since I started using it and something out of this world will have to come along before that changes.

I have tried quite a few antivirus programs over last few years . I found most of them either slowed down my system horribly, or failed to protect me from some of the more sinister viruses out there. Ive used Kaperski for 16 months now with no virus problems. Kap just simply blocks anything from getting in. My computer runs fast with their program. A real breath of fresh air. Thank u Kaperski.
