Great Anti-Virus Suite

Date:October 15, 2010
Pros: Feature set, System performance, Value for cost, Virus detection
I really like this product. I have now used it for 21/2 years. The best recommendation I can give it is that after we had gotten it, I asked my wife what she thought of it. She said, "I don't know, it never asks me anything." And that is just it. This software runs in the background, updates and scans entirely in the background without asking you questions about stuff where you have no idea what it is talking about.
I have sent up the scan schedule for both quick and deep scans and after that, I have not had to do anything with it. It updates automatically.
And the other good thing is that when the scans are running and you are using your computer, it doesn't slow it down.
It has caught a couple of viruses and denied entry to an infected website a couple of times. When that happened, it said what was happening, made a recommendation, which I simply accepted.
If you want an anti virus suite that you don't have to monitor, that stops viruses, doesn't ask you techy questions, and does not slow your computer, I recommend Kaspersky.
It was a hassle to put in when I first got it. But that was not a Kaspersky issue. It was an issue with getting the Norton off of my computer!
Full disclosure: I do not work for Kaspersky and am just an ordinary consumer!

Great software, feel protected, love it

Date:September 14, 2010
Pros: Feature set, System performance, Virus detection, User interface
No problems using the software. Fast updates. Love to hear the system sound when the viruses show up trying to penetrate my computers. I guess, it's not only the sound that scares the trojans. They run and I get a great report telling me about all the viruses Kaspersky security software protected me from.
Another great feature: virtual keyboard. Great for online banking.

upgrade on Kaspersky internet security 2010

Date:August 25, 2010
Cons: Installation
The upgrade froze my computer and the mouse stopped working. The usb port would not recognize the printer. It was a mess. We had to have a service person come in and our printer was not working for 3 days.

Delivery As Promised

Date:August 12, 2010
Pros: Feature set, System performance, Value for cost, Virus detection, User interface
With all the installing and uninstalling of programs that I do, I needed a security product that would not fail me. Thus far, Kaspersky Internet Security Suite has delivered on their promise. I am a completely satisfied customer.

About Kaperskiy

Date:August 12, 2010
Cons: Price, Scan speed, Installation
I had never heard of this but had been warned about alot of virus programs. This one seems to do almost everything but often it comes up with stuff that it has done and given me a sort of review and I wonder just what to do with their information.
I am NOT computer literate so the reviews or whatever they do means nothing to me - I just want anything that may be bad or dangerous out of here and I guess it's doing it but I just never really know.

Kaspersky Internet 2010

Date:August 12, 2010
Pros: Feature set, System performance, Value for cost, Virus detection, User interface
I have been a Kaspersky user for about 3 years, and I would not go back to my previous vendor and package, as good as they were. I have not had a breach since I began using this protection. I highly recommend the product for all users

I reupped with Kasperkey for 3 years. While following all directives for online installation the process froze and subsequently corrupted my operating system. I had to bring my computer for repairs that ultimately cost me over $600.

Work in Progress

Pros: System performance, Value for cost
I am enjoying the freedom from interuption as it works in the background.
My previous "protector" would cause my work to come to a halt ... very annoying.

Kapersky 2010

Date:August 10, 2010
Pros: System performance, Value for cost, Virus detection, User interface
I've been using this product for about a year and it works great. I seldom get hampered by my security taking the extra time to check things, and it seems to do everything in the background. And it seems to detect sites and locations that ar probably sinister, where I shouldn't be going. Very good and reliable product.

Excellent

Date:August 9, 2010
Pros: Feature set, System performance, Value for cost, Virus detection
Cons: Spam protection
I Have been using Avast + Malwarebytes + Comodo Firewall + Sandboxie + Keyscrambler for a long time but I suspected you get what you pay for so I upgraded to Avast 5 and was totally dissatisfied. I decided to check out the suites: Avast, Comodo, Zone Alarm, and Kaspersky. Avast interface was not transparent and the firewall/sandbox were not debugged, Comodo had no sandbox, Zone Alarm used Kaspersky antivirus. Only Kaspersky was obviously professional and I am very satisfied. Special pros were Keylogger protection and virtual keyboard. Only cons were sandbox isn't as versatile as Sandboxie and email protection doesn't work with Simple Mail so I had to go back to Outlook (:>( . Kaspersky is the only suite that didn't conflict with Sandboxie. So improve sandbox and email and Kaspersky would be as perfect as your reputation already is.

Slow

Date:August 9, 2010
Pros: Virus detection
Cons: Scan speed, Installation
I have always liked KIS but this time around it has been a nightmare. Downloaded 3 times, it won't complete a full scan or object scan tring to get help has been difficult at best. PC has been slow since downloaded it. May have to go back to former software.

Corrupt files

Date:August 8, 2010
Pros: Value for cost, Virus detection, User interface
I have had Kaspersky Internet Security for a little over a year now. I was very happy w/ it and renewed. I don't know if it is a glitch in updates, but I recently had a problem where there was a missing key? Black List? At first, I thought it was something very serious and I didn't know what to do. There was no way for me to find a phone # since I didn't dare go on the internet. Kaspersky was just not working. My cousin came over and performed a scan via the internet and found that I didn't have anything. I guess it was a learning experience. Otherwise, I don't have to do a thing. Kaspersky software just seems to run on its own. They should publish a phone number in their packaging/manuals for these cases.

KIS2010 Review

Date:August 8, 2010
Pros: Feature set, System performance, Value for cost, Rescue disk, Virus detection, User interface, Parental controls
Cons: Scan speed
I bought this product because I've used it in the past. All is wonderful with it except one thing: it thinks all my game executables are PDM.keyloggers. It is really annoying but other than that, it's excellent. It offers complete protection and I would recommend it to anyone who's concerned about PC security.

great protection, can't get renewal to work!

Date:August 8, 2010
Pros: System performance, Value for cost, Virus detection
Cons: Installation
Had this installed with a service and it has been GREAT. But now that the time came for renewal, which I was told, and paid for to be automatic, the renewal won't install. I actually paid for and downloaded a second version and cannot install that either! And am not able to contact Kaspersky!!!. Maybe it's me, maybe it's a glitch, maybe writing this will get some results! HELP folks!! Great program, but CAN:T INSTALL UPDATE!

Confusing

Date:August 8, 2010
Your software appears to be very good, but I have no way of knowing. Your information is wrote for computer IT personnel, which I am not. You information is confusing and wrote in computer langue, which I don't understand and don't what what you need for me to do. This program has changed my computer a great deal, but I miss someof the information I had to remove.
Now I would like to know how I find out what I need to do when there is a pop-up flag, in my langue and understanding.

Kaspersky Rocks!

Date:August 7, 2010
Pros: Feature set, System performance, Value for cost, Rescue disk, Virus detection, User interface
I'm an IT professional consultant. I've used Symantec and McAfee, etc., at various client companies, per their preference. But at our home office and business (we have a lot of computers here) I run Kaspersky, because it provides as good or better protection than the competitors (most often better), is comprehensive, and very easy to use. There were a few things I didn't like as to ease of use a few versions back, but they've taken care of that now. This is a solid product -- I wish I could get all my clients to use it -- would make my job easier!

Kaspersky protection

Date:August 7, 2010
Pros: Value for cost, Virus detection
Cons: Scan speed
My third year using Kaspersky. This one seems to be doing alot more than the others and is slowing things down. I may need to work more on the proper settings.
